Exhibitions of military and civilian aircraft, aerial demonstrations, musical shows, children’s areas, civic and social activities and many other attractions: the Open Gates are major events for aviation fans. Every year, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) invites society to get to know its main activities with the aim of demonstrating its capabilities, developing vocations and strengthening ties with the community. The events are held in various military organizations across the country.
At Brasília Air Base (BABR), the event takes place on Sunday (03/09) with demonstrations by the Fumaça Squadron, Fox Squadron, aerial acrobatics, model airplanes, among other attractions in the air and on the ground. In the federal capital, Portões Abertos brought together more than 90,000 people in its last edition. But if you’re from another region of the country, you can also enjoy the event at the nearest Military Organization (OM).
