For those who dream of joining the Brazilian Navy (MB), this year the Force has plenty of entry opportunities for both sexes. There will be more than ten public tenders offering a variety of vacancies, covering positions at primary, secondary and higher education levels, distributed throughout the national territory. There are a variety of paths for those who wish to serve their country and contribute to its defense.
According to the Director of the Navy Personnel Selection Service (SSPM), Sea and War Captain Alvaro Lemos, in 2024, in addition to holding public competitions to join the MB, the SSPM is committed to bringing the recruitment activities needed to attract people to as many Brazilians as possible, so that they can get to know and embrace a naval career. “The public competitions for entry into the Brazilian Navy organized, coordinated and executed by the Navy Personnel Selection Service are guided by the laws and regulations in force, observing the principles of Legality, Impersonality, Morality, Publicity and Efficiency. This demonstrates the responsibility and seriousness required for the best selection of personnel to join the Navy, as well as the commitment and respect for all candidates who dream of joining our Force,” he said.
The selection processes cover several stages, including an objective and/or discursive test, health inspection, physical assessment, document verification, among others, guaranteeing a careful selection of candidates. The Navy is looking for committed individuals, with aspirations for professional growth and the skills needed to excel in the functions of the traditional institution.
