Taurus and Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC), the world’s main manufacturers of arms and ammunition, are participating in the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), the largest defence event in the Middle East, which is being held between February 20 and 24, 2023 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), in the United Arab Emirates.
IDEX features more than 1,350 exhibitors from 65 countries in an area of 165,000 m² divided into 12 pavilions. The event is expected to attract around 130,000 visitors, among them the main representatives of government departments, Armed Forces and military personnel from the entire MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) and other countries, and is a great opportunity for Taurus and CBC to stand out as Brazilian companies that are among the leaders in the segment, promoting the technologies, innovations and broad portfolio of products developed, and consequently closing large contracts, expanding sales in the foreign market and generating business for Brazil.
At the modern Taurus and CBC booth, No. 09-A04, located in the Brazil Pavilion, Hall 9, the brands present to the public their broad portfolio of arms and ammunition.
Taurus is exhibiting at this year’s edition of IDEX internationally recognized weapon models by the military, police and security forces, such as the Taurus T4 rifle in the 5.56 caliber in various versions, as well as the T4 rifle in the .300BLK caliber with a 9-inch barrel and the ST12 Tactical Full rifle.
Also of note is the highly regarded TSeries line of weapons, including the TS9, TH9, and TH9c pistols, as well as the SMT9 submachine gun.
Visitors can also find at the Taurus booth the GX4 pistol, which won the most important award in the United States arms industry – the coveted Handgun of the Year 2022 award from the North American magazine GUNS & AMMO, the pistols from the G3 line, including the compact G3c and the G3 T.O.R.O (Taurus Optic Ready Option), a version that allows it to receive Red Dot optical sights, and the PT92 caliber 9mm and 1911 caliber .45ACP pistols.
Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC) will present its complete portfolio of military ammunition, highlighting the calibers .300BLK, 5.56x45mm, 7.62x51mm, 12.7x99mm (.50) and 40x53mm.
