Taiwan Introduces the Formidable Tuo Jiang Class Warships, the vessels have enormous stealth capabilities and are very well armed

Amid growing tensions with China, Taiwan is about to launch two new Tuo Jiang class warships, which have earned the nickname “aircraft carrier killers”. These corvettes, named An Jiang and Wan Jiang, are part of an initial group of six units that began development almost a decade ago.
The highlights of these vessels:
- Agility and Speed: Although they are similar to frigates, the Tuo Jiang class corvettes stand out for their agility and speed. They are designed for operations ranging from patrol and surveillance to surface combat and interception of other vessels.
- Powerful Armament: These ships are not to be trifled with. With a fully loaded displacement of 600 tons, they can reach a maximum speed of 36 knots. Their weapons systems include:

Naval Grand Chess: While Taiwan strengthens its fleet, China is also in the game. The Asian giant is testing its new aircraft carrier CNS Fujian, launched in June 2022 and awaiting official commissioning.

Well, the term is not used literally, but rather as an expression that highlights the capacity of these Taiwanese corvettes. Let’s take a look at why they have earned this reputation:
