Saab has signed agreements with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for the Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon system and the AT4 single-shot weapon. NSPA also made agreements for orders with a total value of approximately SEK 350 million.
NSPA has placed an order for Carl-Gustaf ammunition with planned deliveries between 2023 and 2025, as well as an order for AT4 with planned deliveries between 2023 and 2024.
The agreement for the AT4 will be valid until 2026, while the Carl-Gustaf agreement, which includes the ammunition, will be valid until 2027.
“We are proud that our combat solutions are making a difference for our customers. These agreements will further strengthen our relations with NATO and facilitate the ordering process for the Carl-Gustaf and AT4 for member countries,” says Görgen Johansson, head of Saab’s Dynamics business area.
Saab’s ground combat systems provide defense forces with the effectiveness and precision needed to give them the edge in combat, while enabling soldiers to perform their missions safely. Several NATO member states, including the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, are already customers of Saab’s ground combat solutions.
