The most modern products for ballistic protection were presented at the largest public security and police activity event in Latin America in São Paulo.
The PROTECTA Group’s participation in the first day of activities at the Police Operations Congress – COP International, Latin America’s largest public safety and police activity event, was a great success. The event began on Wednesday 16th and runs until Friday 18th at the SP Expo in São Paulo (SP).
During the first day, the stand was visited by various authorities from the Armed Forces and Security Forces from all over the country, who came to check out the high-tech solutions for ballistic protection, such as ballistic waistcoats and shields.
The waistcoats are NIJ 0101.06 certified and are the lightest and most flexible on the national and international market, thus guaranteeing greater ergonomics without losing ballistic performance.
The highlight was the presentation of a special waistcoat aimed at female agents, in support of Pink October. With a special design, it maintains comfort and well-being.
PROTECTA presented ballistic shields certified according to NIJ 0108.01, level III-A and all-weather (NBR1000) with super-light and versatile solutions.
Visitors were also able to see PROTECTA’s work in vehicle armouring. The company exhibited an electric car fully armoured with its new product, PRO-UD, made of Ultra Molecular Weight Polyethylene, replacing steel in NIII-A armouring.
‘We’re very happy with the reception to our products here at COP. We bring solutions that protect people’s lives, both in the military and civilian spheres, and this work is being increasingly recognised,’ celebrated the CEO of the PROTECTA Group, Victor Gallo.
Partnership for ballistic tests
PROTECTA was also recognised for supplying ballistic waistcoats for shooting tests at the Smart Power Group stand. The partner company brought a special training container to the event.
‘We chose PROTECTA because it is a benchmark in the sector. It’s definitely a company we recommend. We wouldn’t have this partnership if we didn’t have confidence in the quality of the waistcoats and were able to say to our customers: ‘This is PPE you should be using’,’ said Viviane Migueloti, project manager for the Smart Power Group.
