Marabá (PA) – On May 15, marking the beginning of Operation Munduruku III, the 52nd Jungle Infantry Battalion held a training session for the operational readiness of its Task Force, under the coordination of the 23rd Jungle Infantry Brigade. The activity is part of the preparation for the exercise CORE 23 (Combined Operation and Rotation Exercise).

The Task Force was composed of 387 military personnel, 246 from the Battalion. The troops from the 1st Jungle Field Artillery Group, the 23rd Jungle Logistics Battalion, the 23rd Jungle Communications Company, and the 6th Jungle Combat Engineering Company also participated. The operational readiness was presided over by Brigadier General Eduardo da Veiga Cabral, Commander of the 23rd Bda Inf Sl, who, along with the staff, inspected the personnel and the various military materials, such as vehicles, weapons, and health support material.
