Opportunity to enter as a soldier remains open until March 2nd

The Public Contest for Soldier Marines has reached the mark of more than 5 thousand women registered for 96 vacancies. The numbers, which date from Wednesday (15), demonstrate the adhesion to the contest, which is unprecedented for being the first to convene the female public for the vacancies of Marine Soldier of the Brazilian Navy.
The entrance of women as Marine Soldiers completes the gradual process of women’s inclusion in the various Marine Corps. The approved candidates will participate for 17 weeks in the Marine Soldiers’ Training Course, at the Almirante Milcíades Portela Alves Training Center, in Campo Grande, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
