Manaus (AM) – The 1st Jungle Infantry Battalion (Aeromóvel) carried out the Basic Aeromobile Combatant Training (EBCA) for 253 soldiers from the Unit, in partnership with the 4th Army Aviation Battalion.

With the conclusion of the EBCA, on April 24th and May 24th, the Battalion has completed the training of its entire Professional Staff in Aeromobile Operations in the Jungle, further enhancing the combat power of this Unit, which is part of the Amazon Military Command’s Readiness Force.

During the internships, the soldiers practiced aeromobile techniques such as abseiling, fast hope, helocasting, wounded evacuation, cargo preparation, abandoning aircraft in a mass of water, aircraft communications and beacons, as well as taking part in a military operation with infiltration through the forest, followed by the conquest and maintenance of an aeromobile bridgehead. The Aeromobile Operations Internship is therefore a vital component in the strategy for the defense and preservation of the Amazon.

In June, the Brazilian Army celebrated the completion of the Aeromobile Operations Internship for 48 soldiers who are part of the Amazon Military Command (CMA). The traineeship, which involved members of various military organizations, was fundamental for training in challenging missions in the Amazon region, guaranteeing the protection and sovereignty of Brazilian territory.
