Caçapava (SP) – Last week, the Aeromobile Infantry Brigade (Bda Inf Amv) held the Basic Aeromobile Combatant Internship, which trains soldiers to plan and develop operations with aeromobile characteristics.
Participants in the internship included soldiers from the Paratrooper Infantry Brigade (Rio de Janeiro/RJ) and the 4th Light Mountain Infantry Brigade (Juiz de Fora/MG), thus increasing the operational capabilities of these major commands.
The internship’s inaugural lecture was given by Lieutenant General Montenegro, Commander of the 2nd Army Division. Brigadier General Pasinato, Commander of the Aeromobile Infantry Brigade, accompanied the internship activities and, on June 28, presented the highlights of the shift with a souvenir from the Aeromobile Infantry Brigade.
In March, in the city of Lorena (SP), the Army trained 119 trainees from the Aeromobile Infantry Brigade and other military organizations, who also took part in the Aeromobile Combatant Basic Internship.
Also in March, in Campo Grande (MS), officers and sergeants from various units of the Western Military Command took part in the Aeromobile Operations Training in the Pantanal, which was conducted by the Army’s 3rd Aviation Battalion.
