The DroneShow 2023, the main event of the professional drone community in Latin America, reaches its 9th edition even bigger, with more than 120 exhibitors, 150 speakers and instructors and expectations of more than 5 thousand visitors. The event organized by MundoGEO will be 100% presential at the Frei Caneca Convention Center, in São Paulo, from May 9 to 11.
This year seven seminars, three forums and ten courses will be held, covering numerous solutions with drones, such as mapping, inspections, spraying, delivery and logistics, covering various sectors of the economy, such as agriculture, environment, smart cities, energy, infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, defense, security, among others.
Among the exhibitors at the fair are manufacturers and importers of drones, embedded technology, data processing platforms, as well as service providers, universities, startups and regulatory bodies, such as the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), Department of Airspace Control (DECEA), Ministry of Defense (MD) and Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA).
The presence of regulatory bodies, in fact, highlights the important role that the DroneShow exercises since its first edition, which is to monitor and encourage the evolution of the professional drone sector in Brazil. For this reason, the event will once again hold a specific forum on Drone Regulation, bringing together not only entities, but also companies that work directly with the certification of this equipment in the country.

The 2023 edition of the DroneShow will also give space for startups in the sector through the Drone Pitch, in which startups selected by a committee of experts in the sector will receive mentorship and space for presentation to a panel of judges composed of investors, entrepreneurs and leaders of the ecosystem.
The news for this year goes even further, with the debut of two forums interrelated to the drone sector. The 1st eVTOL Forum will bring together aeronautical authorities, manufacturers, operators and experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities of electric vehicles for vertical take-off and landing, the “flying cars”. In addition, the 1st Autonomous Mobile Robotics Forum will bring lectures on the applications and business potential of autonomous mobile robots, involving Artificial Intelligence, navigation systems, sensors and the Internet of Things.
