One of the major attractions at COP International 2023, the largest public security event in Latin America, which will take place between October 25 and 27 at ExpoCenter São Paulo, will be the shooting stand, called CATA (Célula Avançada de Treinamento Autônomo), set up in partnership by the companies SMART POWER and CONDOR TECNOLOGIAS NÃO LETAIS.
At CATA, the public will be able to experience shooting with the most advanced controlled impact ammunition on the market. It is an innovative indoor environment, designed to guarantee safety during operations, preserve the health of users and fully respect the environment.
CATA is a compact version of the training modules widely adopted by various security forces in Brazil, including the Federal Police and the Federal Highway Police. Its system enables the use of long and short weapons, armed with temporarily incapacitating projectiles, designed to be used at distances of between 5 and 15 meters, guaranteeing maximum safety. CATA offers Tactical Flexibility for maximum training performance.
In this scenario, Condor, a specialist in the production of non-lethal technologies, will provide access, by appointment, to the latest elastomer ammunition for controlled impact, in particular PRECISION. With a patent granted in 2009 in the United States, PRECISION is recognized as one of the best performing non-lethal munitions available on the market.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to get to know the DEFENSOR non-lethal pistol, Condor’s latest launch. This pistol, caliber 10mm IC, was specifically developed for the use of non-lethal ammunition at close range.
