In the period from June 6 to 10, it takes place at the facilities of the Southern Army of the United States of America (USA) the Multinational Force South meeting for Crisis Planning of the exercise PANAMAX.
The meeting aims to perform the Situation Study of the Multinational Force and deliver, as a final product, the mission of the Component Land Force of Brazil (FTC) that will participate in the exercise.
The exercise has as general coordinator, Colonel QEMA Sergio Martins Rocha, from the Land Operations Command (COTER), accompanied by the FTC Staff, with members of the 8th Military Region, Logistics Command, 29th Armored Infantry Battalion and Army Intelligence Center, as well as military personnel from 20 other countries. PANAMAX will take place between August 1st and 12th, in the USA.
