São Paulo (SP) – From April 24th to April 28th, it was held at the Arsenal of War of São Paulo (AGSP) the first stage of engineering tests in the vehicles of the Pilot Lot CHIVUNK, whose main objective is to provide incremental development service for the adequacy of the pilot lot of 10 units of VLEGA CHIVUNK.

The Army Technological Center (CTEx) team was composed by Colonel Inácio and First-Lieutenant Cavaignac, who were responsible for testing five vehicles, including visual and functional inspections, electrical system, metrological and ergonomic inspections, as well as running tests on asphalt (highway) and on any terrain (QT).

The final result was very satisfactory, proving the adequacy of several technical solutions implemented in the Pilot Lot, and also identifying opportunities for improvement and new non-conformities, which could only be observed as a result of the inspections and tests carried out. The great importance of the engineering tests, “still in the factory”, is to prove that the project requirements were met, and to correct and make final adjustments, as well as to verify the achievement of the technological maturity required to move forward to the Evaluation phase.

The activity was developed with the support of the AGSP team, led by its Director, Lieutenant Colonel Batista, which provided the ideal conditions for the success of the mission carried out by CTEx members.
