Sake (Democratic Republic of the Congo) – A team of Brazilian military personnel from the Army and Air Force won second place in an international competition in the Congo, on June 25. The competition, called “Kaibil Spirit”, was organized by the Special Forces Company of Guatemala, in commemoration of the Guatemalan Army Day, and consisted of vertical rope climbing; a 7 km run, armed and equipped; rifle and pistol shooting; and wounded transportation.
Four military personnel from the Brazilian Army that integrate the Mobile Team for Jungle Operations Training (JWMTT) and an officer from the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) participated in the activity, competing with teams from Uruguay, Ukraine, Guatemala and Bangladesh.
