Manaus (AM) – The Army Social Communication Center (CCOMSEx) debated about Strategic Communication with military from the Social Communication of the Military Command of the Amazon (CMA). The technical orientation visit took place at the Manaus Garrison, and was transmitted by videoconference to the subordinated Jungle Infantry Brigades, from July 19 to 22.

In the opening of the event, the Military Commander of the Amazon, Army General Achilles Furlan Neto, highlighted that the Social Communication is a strength of the Brazilian Army, which shows every day the work of the military in several actions around the country.

The Chief of the Army’s Social Communication Center, Division General José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes, spoke about the Brazilian Army’s Social Communication System. He highlighted the image and reputation of the Land Force. “Our reputation is a construction of generations of military personnel, the result of many years of work.” He also highlighted the history of the institution, the values and the deliveries that the Army performs, which make the Land Force known by the Brazilian population.

Journalist Neto Cavalcante, chief editor of Band Amazonas TV, approached the relationship with the media.
