Boa Vista (RR) – From February 25 to March 11, the Army’s 4th Aviation Battalion participated in Operation Macuxi 2023. The activity, carried out at the 6th Construction Engineering Battalion (6th BEC), counted on the participation of the military organizations of the Boa Vista garrison.
The operation aims to train the crews, Search and Rescue (SAR) teams, Air Transport, Supply and Special Aviation Services (TASA) teams, and ground support personnel. In this opportunity, a large part of the personnel, aircraft, and flight support equipment were deployed on the ground, where maneuvers of piloting, helicopter fraction maneuverability, shooting, and tactical application maneuvers, such as fast rope and rappel, as well as flights using night vision equipment, enabling the crews and teams to execute any type of mission in our Amazon.
