The BAE Systems CV90 is a highly advanced infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) widely used in various military forces around the world. It was developed by the British company BAE Systems and first entered service in the mid-1990s.

The CV90 is designed to provide a combination of mobility, protection, and firepower for infantry troops in combat. The vehicle is known for its excellent cross-country capability, allowing it to operate effectively in a variety of environments and difficult terrain.

In terms of protection, the CV90 is designed with the application of modular armor that provides ballistic protection against small arms and blast shrapnel. In addition, it has protection systems against mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which increases its survivability in combat environments.

When it comes to firepower, the CV90 is equipped with a remote-controlled turret that houses a variety of armaments. Variants can be equipped with medium-caliber automatic cannons, heavy machine guns, anti-tank missile launchers, and air defense systems. In addition, the vehicle can carry troops, usually between 6 and 8 soldiers, in addition to the crew.

A notable feature of the CV90 is its ability to integrate advanced communication systems and sensors, which allows for enhanced situational awareness and real-time information sharing with other units in the field.

Over the years, the CV90 has undergone continuous upgrades and improvements, keeping it relevant and capable of handling the evolving demands of the modern battlefield.

It is important to note that the exact specifications and features of the CV90 may vary depending on the specific version and customer requirements, as it has been exported and customized to meet the needs of different military forces around the world.
