The Performance Commission of the Airspace Control Department (DECEA) is holding the third edition of the ATM (Air Traffic Management) 2024 Performance Seminar from September 24 to 26 at Anhembi Morumbi University in São Paulo (SP), an opportunity to deepen knowledge about air traffic management in Brazil, with a focus on analyzing ATM indicators. Those interested in taking part in the event have until September 13 to register free of charge via the link.
The Seminar, which is open to the public, represents the main event relating to the evolution of the national air traffic management system through performance management, based on the exchange of experiences, research and good practices between specialists from the Brazilian Airspace Control System (SISCEAB). During the three-day seminar, the following performance areas will be addressed: capacity, predictability, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and predictability.
For the Head of the Operations Subdepartment of the Airspace Control Department (DECEA), Air Brigadier André Gustavo Fernandes Peçanha, the event is an opportunity to share experiences and contribute to an increasingly safe and efficient airspace. “This meeting is essential for spreading the culture of performance management in the National Air Traffic Management system, seeking means and strategies for decision-making with a focus on results,” said the General Officer.
